Privacy Policy

Portica is designed so your portfolio data stays on your Apple devices and syncs through your iCloud account when enabled. This draft should be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

Portfolio data

Holdings, quantities, transaction history, buy prices, notes, personal settings and total portfolio values are intended to be stored locally and, if enabled, in the user's iCloud/CloudKit container. Portica's public API should not receive this information.

Market data requests

The Portica API may receive public asset identifiers, currency codes and chart ranges to return asset metadata, prices, history and FX rates. These requests do not require personal portfolio amounts.

iCloud

iCloud sync is handled by Apple services under the user's Apple ID. Portica does not operate the user's iCloud account.

Support

If you contact support, Portica may receive the information you choose to include in that message. Do not send seed phrases, private keys, exchange passwords or sensitive financial records.
